Working in the dynamic Israeli tech ecosystem, I am exposed to a lot of startups and a lot of amazing entrepreneurs. Out of all the startups I meet almost daily, some of them are so impressive that I really go out of my way to help in any way I can. That often leads to me joining the company in some capacity, most often, as a strategic advisor.

This was the case with prooV. What impressed me about prooV? Besides Toby and Alexey who you can see in the live FB interview I did below, the company is solving a HUGE pain point for both startups and enterprises.

If you have ever founded a company or worked in one, you are surely familiar with the famous catch 22/chicken and egg situation of every startup. You need to raise capital to scale and to raise capital, you generally need traction. Only problem is, to gain traction, you need money. So to raise capital, you need traction, and to gain traction, you need capital…

No one said it would be easy…

Well, this is exactly where prooV comes in. As an investor, yes, if you have 10 million users, I am more likely to write a check, but until then, a PoC (Proof of Concept) is extremely helpful. If a huge multi billion dollar enterprise can use your tech, and your tech is able to work at that scale, and on top of that, the enterprise chooses you to work with, well then, as an investor, I have something to work with here.

Great, so every startup should work with enterprises and all is right with the world. Cute.

Guess what? Coca Cola doesn’t know your startup and you don’t have access to the decision makers in Coca Cola. So first and foremost, there is the discovery aspect. But that is the easy part. Once the enterprise somehow discovers you, they need to run thorough due diligence on your tech to ensure it is what they need. Then they need to test it, get feedback, make sure all is compatible, and after that process, which, depending on the size of the enterprise, can take years, deploy your tech on their own servers and pray nothing goes wrong.

Or… They can use prooV, who literally handles all that, end to end, removes the risk from the enterprise and facilitates PoCs in a matter of weeks, and not months or years.

More info in the interview below. Enjoy!
